- What is Tavernly?
- Tavernly is a free platform that brings players, game masters and groups for tabletop roleplaying games in the Netherlands and Belgium together to play in person. Groups put their table on the map; players send a request. The rest (chat, scheduling) groups simply do in their own Discord or WhatsApp.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. Creating a profile, finding groups and starting a group are all free.
- Which games can I find a group for?
- Dungeons & Dragons is the biggest, but on Tavernly you'll also find (or start) tables for Pathfinder, Daggerheart, Call of Cthulhu, Vampire: The Masquerade, Warhammer roleplaying games, Cyberpunk RED and any other system.
- Can I join without any experience?
- Yes. Many groups are explicitly beginner-friendly: the game master explains the rules as you play, and you rarely need your own books. Filter the map for “beginner-friendly”.
- Is Tavernly available in English?
- Yes, the whole site works in English. Plenty of Dutch and Belgian campaigns already run in English, and every group shows which language it plays in. On the map you can filter for English-speaking tables, and in your profile you can say which languages you speak, so groups can find you too.
