Tavernly grows with the players who use it. Here is what changed recently.
New
Communities, venues and notifications on your phone
- Game stores, pubs, gaming venues and communities can now sign up themselves and get their own page listing their groups.
- On the map, venues appear as a seal at their real address, and a community as a blue shield on the players of that town. The legend explains every pin.
- Already playing with a regular group? Choose "Existing group" and count the players who aren't on Tavernly. Whether your group is full then follows automatically.
- Add Tavernly to your phone and get a notification for a join request, an acceptance or a new table nearby.
- Editing your group now saves automatically, just like your character sheet.
- The game leader is called GM, except in D&D, where it stays DM.
Tavernly in English
- The whole site is now available in English, for everyone who prefers to play or search in English.
- Emails arrive in the language you use.
Easier to get started and find each other
- Sign up with Google.
- Groups and profiles have a play language, and a group describes where you play: at home or at a venue, by public transport, with pets.
- Add your group chat or phone number so new members can reach you.
- A new table near you? You'll get an email. You can turn this off in your account.
- A half-finished group form is kept when you click away.
